Road description: Tihuta Pass connects Moldavia with Transylvania, crossing Bargau Mountains and it has a maximum elevation of 1201m. It's a road with quite a high traffic but fortunately there are not so many villages on the road. The asphalt is very good, the road is wide, it has 2 lanes on every climb, it has a lot of curves, most of them wide but there are some areas with tight turns. Although the road is very fun and it makes you hit the gas, the landscape and views are superb so from time to time it worth stopping for a brake. If you are in this area, don't miss the Transrarau road which is very close.
